Technician
We understand every frame and byte counts. Using Shotgun Pro Software, reviewing the footage, detail transfer notes, and screenshots (of CARD and HD folders) assuring nothing is off. Everyone’s work is on the line during this process, and we want to make sure it arrives to post as intended. If your editor/post house has a labelling preference, let us know, we always want to make little to no adjustment for them to adapt.

We are incredibly excited to be a part of putting the pieces together. Assistant or Main Editor, we are happy to work with creative minds. Flexibility to work within the structure or assist in elevating the story in a creative form to your liking brings us enjoyment. Reviewing each clip, taking note of other possibilities, and working within the deadline are extremely important. We understand your vision is number one and trust to meet expectations with the footage we receive.
Visual
Effects
Our primary focus is compositing, tracking shots, rotoscoping, green screen, and adding 2D footage in 3D space. We are constantly adapting and finding new ways to reach that vision. To make everything blend and nothing jarring for the audience is the goal. We are also flexible to work with other VFX artists and provide as much ease for transferring files in the cloud to reviewing clips for every stage until it gets finalized.

Miguel Castillo is an editor originally from London, Ontario and a graduate from York University for Film Productions. He is most passionate about video editing yet interested in working on set as a data management technician and visual effect for post.
